Welcome to the sixth annual PPG festival. The Piano Pedagogy Group is a group for teachers studying piano pedagogy or working towards an exam goal.
The festival is organized for PPG teachers and their students. All student of any age or level are encouraged to enter any style or genre of piece. The festival also offers a teachers class for PPG teachers who are working on repertoire.
Our mission is to:
– Provide a positive learning atmosphere
– Give students a chance to perform for other students and parents
– Learn from a qualified adjudicator to gain extra insight into repertoire

This year’s adjudicator is Edwin Gnandt. Edwin serves as an associate professor of music at Ambrose University College in Calgary Alberta. He has written the book, “The Soul of Music, Gifts from the Golden Age of Piano”.
